Lesson 10: BaRay Huroof-e-Illat (Long Vowels)
Vowels are an important part of every language. Urdu has ten of them--three short vowels which you learned in Lesson 3, and seven long vowels, Barday Huroof-e-illat, that you will study now. You will see that 4 letters produce 7 sounds, so please study this lesson carefully.
